The clashing assets makes me feel like this might be an asset flip or some kind of project that shifted gears midway. You got Game Gear-styled Amy, Zubat and a Pokemon remix bgm, and some generic looking ammo, missiles, and platforms

Definitely needs more time in the oven. The character sprites aren't default assets, but the chipsets and music are. The battle system is a side-view default instead of a sufficiently custom one. Additionally, the left warp in the first room is broken and won't let you go back. The version of RPG Maker used is sufficiently powerful and customizable enough to really let you make something truly unique, so why not go the extra mile?
